First steps

Sign in with admin / admin123. PetHealth sends you to My account and blocks everything else until you choose a new password (minimum 8 characters). Changing it also signs out any other session.

You can switch between English and Español on the login screen or later from the account menu (top right).

In My account:

  • Currency: used for expenses (USD, EUR, COP, MXN, ARS, CLP, PEN, BRL, UYU, GBP, CAD).
  • Email reminders: if the server has SMTP configured. See Email reminders.
  • Calendar: create your private calendar link. See Calendar feed.

A fresh install includes four example pets with realistic history: a dog with lab results and an overdue vaccine, a cat on an active treatment, a rabbit, and a puppy with a growth curve. Open the dashboard, tap a pet, and look through the tabs: Checkups, Lab exams, Vaccines, Parasites, Weight, Expenses, Timeline.

  1. On the dashboard, click Add pet.
  2. Fill in the name and species (required), plus breed, birth date, sex, weight, notes and a photo.
  3. Open the pet and start adding records: the first checkup, vaccines, parasite treatments and weight.

Tip: if you’ve already recorded checkups, open Vets (account menu) → Import from history to build your vet directory automatically.

If other people help with the pets:

  1. Create accounts for them. Either set ALLOW_REGISTRATION=true so they can sign up themselves, or turn it on temporarily.
  2. On the pet’s profile, choose Share access, enter their username and pick View only or Can edit.

See Sharing.

Open each demo pet and use Delete pet… at the bottom of its profile. Deleting a pet removes all its records and files.
