Vaccines & parasites
Vaccines
Section titled “Vaccines”
Profile → Vaccines → Log vaccine. Fields: vaccine name (required, with suggestions for the species), date given (required), next booster, veterinarian (autocompleted from your directory), batch, cost and notes.
Each vaccine is identified by its name, ignoring case. Only the latest dose of each one sets the status and the reminder; older doses are labeled Previous dose.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Up to date | Next booster more than 30 days away |
| Due soon | Next booster within 30 days |
| Overdue | Next booster date has passed |
| No booster | No next date recorded |
The pet’s vitals show Up to date or the number of overdue vaccines.
The name field suggests common vaccines for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets and horses. The suggestion list is currently in Spanish (e.g. Rabia for rabies), and you can type any name you like.
Parasite treatments
Section titled “Parasite treatments”
Profile → Parasites → Log parasite treatment.
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Type | Internal (dewormers), External (fleas, ticks), or Internal & external (combined products) |
| Product | Required; suggestions per type, e.g. Drontal Plus, Bravecto, NexGard Spectra |
| Date given | Required |
| Next dose | Optional; quick buttons set it 1, 3 or 6 months after the date given |
| Cost, notes | Optional |
Reminders use the latest treatment of each type, so if you switch from one brand to another, the old product doesn’t keep reminding you. Status pills work like vaccines (Up to date / Due soon / Overdue), and the tab counter turns red when one is overdue.
