Expenses

Checkups, lab exams, vaccines and parasite treatments each have an optional Cost field. The Expenses tab of each pet adds them up:

• Total since the first record, and the number of records.
• This year.
• By year: a stacked bar per year, split into checkups, exams, vaccines and parasite treatments, with the amount for each.
• An itemized table (date, type, item, amount), newest first.

Amounts use the currency chosen in My account → Preferences (USD, EUR, COP, MXN, ARS, CLP, PEN, BRL, UYU, GBP, CAD). The currency is only a display setting: changing it doesn’t convert amounts. People you share a pet with see its costs in their own currency setting.

Leave the cost empty for anything you don’t want to count.

Timeline

The Timeline tab puts the pet’s whole history in one chronological list, grouped by year, newest first:

• checkups (with the diagnosis),
• lab exams (with the number of out-of-range values),
• vaccines,
• parasite treatments,
• weight entries,
• allergies and conditions that have a since date.

Use the chips at the top to show only one type. Click an item to jump to its tab. It’s a handy way to brief a vet who doesn’t know the pet yet.
